Bavi National Park

The national park has a total area of 9,702.41 hectares, administratively located within 15 communes belonging to 3 districts of Hanoi city and 2 districts and cities of Hoa Binh province, about 60 km west of the capital's center.

The Ba Vi mountain range has 3 peaks: King Peak with an altitude of 1,296m, Tan Vien Peak with an altitude of 1,227m, and Ngoc Hoa Peak with an altitude of 1,131m. The flora and fauna of Ba Vi National Park are very rich and diverse with 2,181 species of woody plants, 503 species of medicinal plants, 65 species of mammals, 194 species of birds, 61 species of reptiles, 27 species of amphibians, and 552 species of insects.
